Corey Kent Omaha Concert reviews
sub-par
This review was definitely lacking in sound and visuals, unlike the greatest show I've ever seen earlier in the month when Tiesto performed. The chest-pounding bass could be felt sitting in the stands, and the strobes were so bright that keeping your eyes open was a challenge (farther back than at petco park). The lights were lame, except for Corey Kent's set, which had a sick ass light show. Avicii's stage was surprisingly tiny. I couldn't tell there was any bass at all.
Whoever it is should step their game up, whether it's LED or the DJs.
As for logistics, the show was also disappointing. Everyone had to pick up their tickets at will call, creating a huge mess that took about an hour to get through. The people working the venue were like stealth ninjas, coming out of nowhere to tell you to put your cig out. No smoking in the venue was annoying. The drinks were expensive and could only be bought 1 at a time.
